About the 2nd International Conference hosted by Aqualine company
Water quality is a crucial factor for a healthy human life. The water we consume daily should be not only clean but also “healthy.”
Water obtained from any source, be it a well, river, lake, ocean, or rain, requires special treatment to meet drinking water standards.
Despite the fact that questions regarding water quality rarely arise in Georgia, and our country is even considered the homeland of mineral waters, this does not mean that consuming it without additional filtration and softening is beneficial.
Water contains numerous impurities: chlorine, organic compounds, pollutants, insoluble particles, heavy metals, and other contaminants that, over time, negatively affect human health.
The second international conference on water treatment systems, hosted by Aqualine company in Tbilisi on October 5th, was dedicated to addressing these challenges.
The main topic of the meeting was water treatment systems – EU standards, modern technologies, and energy efficiency. The conference aimed to share international experience, introduce innovations in the field of water treatment, and raise awareness about the importance of their proper application in various sectors.
The event, held within the framework of “GERMAN WATER PARTNERSHIP – Day in Georgia,” was opened by the German Ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer.
“I am very pleased that this meeting took place. Germany and Georgia have a long tradition of working together on these issues. Water is one of the most important resources. We have implemented many projects related to water in Georgia. Today, many German companies are working in this direction in Georgia,” stated Mr. Fischer.
Aqualine company’s priority is to contribute to optimizing the cost of water resources – a substance essential for life – and to reduce the impact of pollutants through modern water treatment systems.
“It is a great honor for us that Aqualine company is hosting and co-organizing this international conference for the second time with our German partners, HERBORNER PUMPEN. Water resource management is a significant challenge globally, and Georgia is no exception. This event aims to highlight this problem as much as possible and, on the other hand, to offer consumers innovative products and technologies that will help us cope with these challenges. I would like to express special gratitude to our German partners, who specifically came to share their experience with us,” said Lika Meskhi, Commercial Director of Aqualine.
Presentations at the conference were delivered by:
Boris Greifeneder – GERMAN WATER PARTNERSHIP (Germany)
Burkhard Schwarz – HERBORNER PUMPEN (Germany)
Lika Meskhi – AQUALINE LTD (Georgia)
Thomas Beutel – LUTZ JESCO (Germany)
Tamar Nikuradze – GWP (Georgia)
Sergey Zakharov – DINOTEC (Germany)
Malek Yousef – BIOWORKS GMBH (Germany)
Prof. Alexander Kempfe – GERMAN ENVIRONMENT AGENCY (Germany)

It is noteworthy that the demand for drinking and industrial water treatment systems is increasing year by year. Aqualine company, together with its German partners, is introducing the latest water treatment systems to the Georgian market, offering customers highly effective complex solutions for industrial water purification, as well as a wide selection of water filters for restaurants, cafes, and homes. These filters retain harmful impurities, heavy metals, microorganisms, viruses, and even pharmaceutical residues present in water.
A properly selected water treatment system means receiving clean, impurity-free water daily, which is one of the main factors for a healthy and long life.
